Saori was born and raised in Japan and has lived in LA for 10 years.

She specializes in forming strategic art collections by leveraging her 8 years of experience as a marketing and branding specialist at a major Japanese advertising agency. Moreover, she is an art consultant skilled in connecting clients and artists in the U.S. and Japan by utilizing her fluent bilingual skills in English and Japanese.

 

Thanks to her art-loving parents, she has had many opportunities to visit art museums since childhood and has been exposed to a wide range of art genres. 

 

After moving to the U.S. in 2014, she realized that the art market in Japan is very small compared to that in the U.S. 

With a strong desire to introduce the work of emerging artists, she established relationships with local artists in LA and began working as an art consultant.

 

It is one of her missions as well to introduce Japanese artists who want to make their mark in the world to her American clients. In Japan, where art is not familiar to many, she also focuses on art education for children, aiming to produce many future art lovers.

 

She worked as an art consultant at Bruce Lurie Gallery in 2016-2017 and Mouche Gallery in 2017-2018 and has been working as a private art consultant since 2018.
